POPULATION
Our population is approximately 112,000. We're a small island and we are a fun, industrious and safe people.
SIZE
Grenada is 133 sq miles and is tri-island state composed ot Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique located in the southern Caribbean.
TRAVEL
Grenada is about 3 hours from Miami, 5 hours from New York and 10 hours from London. Airlines that come here include American Airlines, Jetblue, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Delta and Liat.
LANGUAGE
Our only language is English. However, some of my fellow Grenadians may speak with a dialect that may require a trained ear to understand.
RELIGION
Most people here are Christian and many of the Christians are Catholic. However, we do have people here that practice other faiths such as Islam and Judaism.
ECONOMY
Most of our economy is tied to tourism. Additional drivers of our economy include agriculture (Grenada exports nutmeg, cocoa, soursop and fish), and education (Grenada hosts St. George's University which has a population of approximately 8000 students.)
